"Non-Online Eligible Retail Transactions" means Eligible Retail Transactions that are not Eligible Online Retail Transactions. Regardless of the currencies of the transactions or the locations at which the transactions are cleared, settled or processed, the currencies of the transactions and the transaction amounts converted into Hong Kong dollars as shown on the relevant monthly statement shall be conclusive and binding on the Eligible Cardholders.
Only applicable to transactions made for paying MTR fares through tapping at gates. Excluding Airport Express stations, Light Rail and MTR Bus. Transactions made at the Customer Service Centres in MTR stations or via MTR Mobile for purchasing Multi Rides Tickets or any other product are not eligible transactions for the reward.
"Eligible Overseas Transactions" refer to retail transactions made outside Hong Kong that are posted in any currency other than Hong Kong dollars. And online overseas retail transactions conducted online will be regarded as Eligible Online Retail Transactions.
The maximum amount of CashBack that may be awarded to each card account of an Eligible Card under the CashBack Promotion is HKD200 per calendar month and HKD600 in total for the entire Promotion Period.
The rebate percentages set out above are inclusive of the basic rebate percentage of 0.4% applicable to an Eligible Card.
Eligible Cardholders can enjoy CashBack on above designated type of Eligible Retails Transactions upon accumulating a spending of HKD1,000 on Non-Online Eligible Retail Transactions within a calendar month.
